The Spiaggia del Relitto (Beach of the Shipwreck) occupies an eastern coastal stretch of the promontory of Punta Rossa, south-east of Caprera, the second largest island in the National Park of the Maddalena Archipelago. The Blue Flag has been flying here for years, because of the clearness of the water and environmental sustainability.

After a hairy drive on a windy dusty stony track you reach the car park for Relitto beach. Walk down past the good beach bar to the beach. Fine sand. The water was so crystal clear, amazing! There is a shipwreck on the edge of the beach, interesting. Lovely swimming, edged with rocks for snorkelling. It was very popular when we were there so.
